Kingship in Onicha Igboeze was non-hereditary, unlike in many Igbo societies. It was instead based on merit, heroism, and communal recognition. Men who displayed unmatched valor, leadership in warfare, or societal contributions were chosen to lead the people. To shaping this origin into our Smarty City, Sons and daughters of this clan, have widely integrated into this future quest. Chiefs and our traditional rulers solely inherent, part and parcels of this our modern Smarty City. Captain of Industries, people who has conquered in their spheres are given focal prominent, because Onicha Igboeze Smart City is indigenous oriented project.

The identity of Onyichaa as in past was however, identified as strong unified entity that has a deep firm for heroism, expedition and quest for knowledge in other to remained conqueror,“the one above all” wasn't just symbolic. It echoed a deep-seated pride in Onicha's past strength, self-reliance, and cultural dominance over neighbors. This sense of universality defined their interactions—Onicha people believed in their superiority and exhibited it through governance, warfare, and negotiation. Therefore, with this single trait of identity, The Smart City would enjoyed having a world class University in future to deeply uphold and maintain ancestry belief and foundation of Onicha Igboeze.
